Hi,I'm fairly new to Linux but I'm having all sorts of trouble installing gcc so I can install some applications. Basically I've downloaded gcc tar and extracted and tried to install and it says ' no acceptable compiler found' I've tried doing the following from openfiler forums but no luck.I've also tried to install a binary from but the registration page bombs out and I can't register to download.
